Hugh-

I think the primary reason for that is that CKH isn't the best quality builder in Hong Kong, but overall, its still a pleasant place to live. The views are great and with the MTR coming there shortly, it will be very convinient to get to anywhere in Hong Kong. By the way, so where do you live now?

Live at 2E block 10, for 5 months have tried to get management and owner to stop sewage floods in the flat. This is a major health problem in the city of SARS and no one will fix it. Department of Health will not assess for health safety unless I die or have a dangerous virus. I want the problem solved before that happens. Owner will not refund the deposit as we have a lease. Wonderful place until you have a problem Then it is Hell!

Yeah, I agree with Hong Kong Person.

Cheung Kong's properties aren't all that great. I heard that Hampton Place, one of their projects built in 2002 in the Olympic Station area - nice views, but my friend says that it is leaking. I have to confirm that, but leaks are a major problem. Also, I cannot stand their floor plans with bedroom doors directly off the living room.

South Horizons is in an up and coming location but unfortunately I am not a big fan of properties built by Cheung Kong. They aren't usually of the best quality. But for the price, they are a reasonable I guess.
